Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about appointments, repairs, pricing, and policies.
What are your business hours?
All services are currently by appointment only. Please contact us through our contact page to schedule an appointment.
My repair isn’t listed — can you still help?
Yes. If your issue or device isn’t listed, contact us anyway. We’ll let you know if we can handle it, and if not, we’ll point you to someone who can.
Are you local to Amarillo?
Yes. We are based in Amarillo, Texas. If you’re outside Amarillo, we also offer mail-in repairs—just contact us first to get started.
What devices do you repair?
We repair laptops, desktops, game consoles, phones, tablets, and other consumer electronics. This includes Windows PCs, Macs, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo systems, and more. Not sure if we handle your device? Just ask!
How much does a diagnostic cost?
We charge a $25 flat-rate diagnostic fee. This fee is non-refundable, but it counts toward the total cost of your repair if the device is repairable.
What if my device isn’t worth fixing?
We’ll tell you honestly. If a repair doesn’t make financial sense, we’ll explain why and help you decide the best next option.
How long do repairs usually take?
Many common repairs are completed within 1–3 business days. More complex repairs or special-order parts may take longer, and we’ll keep you informed throughout the process.
Do you work on data-sensitive devices?
Yes. We take data privacy seriously. All repairs are covered by a data agreement that protects your data and limits access strictly to what is required for the repair. Data is never accessed unless necessary, except in cases of imminent danger.
Do you use new or refurbished parts?
We offer new and refurbished part options whenever possible. You’ll be given price ranges for each option, and you can choose whether you want to save money or prioritize reliability.
Do you offer any warranty or guarantee?
Yes. Most repairs include a limited warranty on parts and labor. Warranty terms vary depending on the repair—ask us for details.
Can you fix liquid-damaged devices?
Sometimes. Liquid damage varies widely. We’ll assess the device first and let you know what’s realistically possible before proceeding.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. All repairs are handled by appointment only to ensure proper time and attention for each device.
Do you buy broken devices?
In some cases, yes. If a device isn’t worth repairing, we may be able to buy it, recycle it responsibly, or offer trade-in credit. We also occasionally have devices available that you may be eligible to trade your broken device toward as credit.
Do you price match other repair shops?
Yes. In most cases, we’ll match or beat local repair shop pricing for the same repair. To qualify, the quote must be from a local business, for the same device and repair, and using comparable parts and warranty. If we can beat the price, we will. If we can’t, we’ll explain why and still help you choose the best option.
